Why are questions that are obvious British posted so Americans can answer when the legal systems are different For example, what is the point of asking an employment question when the labor relations acts are so different.Or a question regarding housing or social benefits etc. Why cant the questions be directed just to the country of origin. What is the point of an American trying to answer a question from say, India, regarding family relationships. The cultural concept is worlds apart.I must say that our out look on the world is a mystery to most other countries.

Why are questions that are obvious British posted so Americans can answer when the legal systems are different Because we all speak English the questions get muddled up sometimes, just put UK in your question and you won't get US answers.

Why are questions that are obvious British posted so Americans can answer when the legal systems are different Jimbo, I don't live in the USA either, besides having to write in American English which can be a bother when an American makes a big deal seeing words written in proper English, It really confuses them as they write like they speak, So I have encountered the same problems until. I discovered to click the flag of your country at the bottom of the page or go to the travel section and click onto your country. I hope that helps you mate.

Why are questions that are obvious British posted so Americans can answer when the legal systems are different Thanks. There is, for instance, a "seperate" Yahoo! Answers for Australia, one for France and one for Germany, as far as I know. Still, it seems some questions jump overboard and end up in the International Version.I find it best to put your country into your question and ask people to put their country into their answer in case you are asking something that might be judged differently in different countries. I don´t see any big deal in that, though. Grown-up, responsible people should know what to look out for, if they don´t - well, their bad.
