| I have had a more intense interest into death, these 2 last couple of years...
...due to a few deaths in my family? Through the aid of reading much into this subject, which undeniably, and inevitably has and will continue to affect our lives, I would like to ask of you, to help me, through your own elaboration, understand this quote written as an entry into his journal, after the death of his much beloved, poetess wife, Joy...by C.W. Lewis
: "I never thought GRIEF, would feel so much like FEAR."
Before these last 3 deaths all into 2 years time in my own family, I have had almost an obsessive need to understand
A certain gap, which fails to define itself of meaning...In Dr. Lewis' quote. (I may not want to face a Gap, which will receive me, far too deeply into its' psychic depths!)
The subject of deaths' impact, although it has been persistent, through all my work, the tapestries over these last 2 years has been dedicated to this man's quote...although to me, I do not allow it to strike a death Knell of comprehension.
So, I will ask of you, so that I can face THIS. What sayest this quote to YOU???
Teresa and Chantol, All that you say about death and its' impact, I will not allow to be taken any further into comprehension at this moment. I have been, myself through too much. I appreciate your comments, though. I am certain I'll be more accessible to the words of wisdom you offer in a while. But at this moment Both my feelings of GRIEF and DEATH are much to powerful to be accommodated into a less painful place. perhaps, i posted the question too soon. however, I have posted it. So I appreciate what you have offered as well as I will appreciate should any more comments to this question come in.
Thank you, both.
