Family has rash?

My daughter has a rash all over. Her face, arms. back, chest, and legs. Its reddish pink and pretty much flat with a few raised bumps. She said it does not itch. But its a lot! My other daughter had it 2 times and then I caught it. I was assuming it was an allergic reaction but it couldn't be that we call got an allergic reaction to something, especially when I am NOT using anything new. The doctor said it was an allergic reaction also but he only looked at it for like 5 secs. He spent more time writing the prescription than examining my daughter.
I have been using the same detergent for atleast the last 10yrs. No puppies, no hotels either..But thanks!!
