I have the worst family health history, what can I do?

My grandmother on my mother's side has breast cancer and diabetes, my grandfather on my mother's side has heart and lung problems, and amost everyone on my mother's side is overweight.

What can I do to keep happy and healthy so I don't end up like them (always in the hospital) 50 years from now?
