How did you feel about family/friends visiting newborn?

I just had my second baby a week ago and so far we've just been at home trying to get settled in and comfortable. It is just my husband and our 2 1/2 year old daughter and now our new addition and family and friends are wanting to come visit the baby. So far it had just been both of our parents and one or two friends that have seen her, but other family is wanting to visit. I will make everyone who wants to hold her wash their hands, I guess I'm just nervous because alot of our friends/family have toddlers and they will be coming over too and I just don't want my toddler getting sick or the little ones wanting to touch the baby. Did you have young children and adults around your baby this soon? Am I being too overprotective?
