| How far would you go to protect your family from a home invader?
Your home should be your safe haven; a place where you and your family (kids, spouse, etc) should be able to eat, sleep, relax, be happy and content. I think more people should learn to respect your home, and the boundaries of your property, whether it's a door, gate, sidewalk, etc.
If a thief or burglar invades my property, I feel I'm well within my rights to protect my family to the fullest extent of the law. If I even suspect that my family's lives or well-being is in danger, I'm going to take ANY action I feel is necessary to keep them safe.
When a thief makes a decision to steal, he should also realize he's taking his life into his own hands. A homeowner has NO idea if a thief has a weapon, or what kind. If I confront a thief in my living room, and I have a gun handy, I'll shoot to kill. He's definitely not getting by me, if I can help it.
Now, with all that in mind, what is your opinion on this?
