Piercings and how to get my family to still love me after it. lol?

I am legal now and i want my nose pierced. My parents came from china to canada and gave birth to me here so theres a big cultural block between my opinions and theirs. I adapted the canadian life style while they think theyr still in china. Theyve told me they dont want me to get pierced becuz people will judge them as bad parents and me as a bad kid. I want to tell them its not that bad and it doesnt mean ill be bad. I convinced them to let me get my first industrial at 15. I had to earn it but i did and i didnt turn bad. I told them but they said they dont want ppl judging. I told them it doesnt matter what others think..i really like it. but they just get stubborn and pout and dont even listen. I live away from them, see them once a week so maybe i can get it done and not see them for 3 months and wear a retainer when i do..lol i dont know. Should i do it? I only live once right...? or maybe not after they find out. opinions?
