| Family Heirloom rings that get passed on before the wearer dies?
I just read a question here about marriage, and the asked had been proposed to by her boyfriend, who gave her mom's ring. This ring was a heirloom and is passed down through the family. I don't have a problem with this pratice at all, in fact, I think its sweet. But it is a little odd to me that the mother-in-law is now without a ring. I assume shes replaces it with something, but I still find the whole pratice a little odd in that regard. Thoughts/Opinions? |
