| [how much should I pay for my host family?] Most of exchange students pay $600-?
So, I am living with one nice family, and I used to watch their kids instead of paying. However, I will start working as a full time employee, so want to know how much I should pay. They had exchange students from Asia before and they said that thay pay $600/month, including rent, utilities, breakfast, and dinner. Which $100 out of that goes to students agency. So the host family gets $500/month. The thing is I love to cook, and I know how to cook very cheap. So, without food, how much do you think I should pay for? I looked craigslist of my town, and many people who share apartments are paying about $400 to $550, including everything/month. |
