| Family Guy fans: did you all know that Cleveland's getting his own show?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cleveland_Show
This is real, dammit. I just discovered this: for the Seventh Season of Family Guy, the first episode ("Love Blactually") will be the "back door pilot" for "The Cleveland Show." He'll have a new wife, Donna, and several kids: daughter Roberta, and his sons Rilo and Cleveland Jr. (now an obese kid). The Clevelands will have talking bears, rednecks and British people in their new Virginia home.
This is genuinely real. Trust me.
But, for my input: I dunno if this'll be that good. I mean, Seth MacFarlane was great at making separate show with "American Dad", but to take Cleveland out of Family Guy, and both shows won't be the same. Without Cleveland, Family Guy won't be the same, and without the Griffins, Cleveland can't be that funny.
But who knows? I also thought Futurama would never come back again. And now, the second DVD movie is coming out.
To respond to the idea of Stewie getting his own show...
It's not happening, but for a brief period, he and Brian and their own Internet Flash program called "Up Late with Stewie and Brian". It wasn't that great.
But, I've always entertained the idea of Quagmire getting his own show. Or "My Black Son" becoming a spinoff. But Cleveland's family being neighbors to talking bears? Now, how the hell is THAT possible?
