hormonal imbalance/miscarriage/family?

Okay so in my family(blood related) there are 3 other people that can't have kids or that have miscarried. 1 miscarries muliple times a year and has cysts on her ovaries...tons on one and 1 as big as her ovary onthe other side. I don't really know how to explain everything she said but baisically its cuz shes miscarried and stuff and she has a hormonal imbalance. Well she said weight gain, black hair on stomach, belly and face was a sign. I have all of those, but my hair has always been black on my legs and belly it just got worse cuz i shaved both. Then i had something happen so I had steroids pumped in my body for three days and a mustache formed, not bad but i do have to shave it. could I have it too? I'm young and all my pas came back fine and I was pregnant but miscarried at about 6 weeks along... the others can't conceive as far as i know but i don't know why with them. could I really have a hormonal imblance? How do i find out for sure(on medicaid)? and what are some symtoms?
Any suggestions? What kind of doctor? Does my gyno need to refer me for medicaid to cover it? What tests should I ask to have done? Any personal experiences? What did you do? Anything is really appreciated! I am trying to have a baby! Thank you!
