brandon lee's family ended up suing the prodfucers of the movie or not?? I know his father bruce lee wouldnt have because he wouldnt ogf been around as he died. I just wondered , since it was the producers of the movie's fault because of the bullet ended up being a real bullet that shot him in the movie. If they didnt sui, if someone didnt i think that would of been really unjust because it was basically their fault he died in and from that movie. I just bought the movie on dvd the other day, and thought he was really great in that movie "The Crow". Its just a real shame, as it was a death prevented. You would think that they would of taken the appropriate measures and precautions when they filmed it- I thought thats what all producers that make films are suppose to do.

Actually it was shown to be an accidental shooting, the cap of the blank actually struck him, which is a very rare occurance.

Brandon died at the age of 28 on the set of "The Crow". While filming one scene, where he gets shot repetitively, the cap of a blank (which shoots harmlessly) accidently got lodged in his spine after penetrating his abdomen. The doctors worked desperately for five hours, but it was no use. He was pronounced dead at 1:04 pm the next day. He was supposed to marry Eliza Hutton on April 17. His body was flown to Seattle to be buried beside his father in Lake View Cemetery.

I don't think anyone sued because it was ruled as accidental. I live about 3 miles from the building that scene was shot in. The downstairs is a bar now!
