nellie has a spectacular aura about
should the family estate be divided equally if one person is doing more of the

caring? As the only female i have moved countries, given up career and pension rights, all because i thought that my family would make sure i was taken care of. Now that my father, 84, has written his will it is divided equally between 4 of us. Do I just go off and try and get my career back on track and leave him to it? Who will be there if he is ill?

All too often families get into a dispute on who gets what. Believe me, it will be better if all things are divided equally. That way, there is no room for anyone to complain. Take the time with your father and enjoy him while he is still alive. Don't worry about the after and what your going to get. You can be satisfied with being the one who spent his last days with him. Thats something worth more than any assets he may leave behind. And the rest of the family is missing out on that precious time. Aftter all is done, then get your career back on track.
