My Family and friends keep telling me I should write my life story... but...

...would anyone read it? My mom in particular always tells me I should write a book about my life. I would but I don't think anyone would care to read it.
This is my life thus far. 1992 at age five I find out that I have bone cancer. Even though my family doctor kept telling my family it was just growing pains. So I have my leg amputated in a van ness rotation. This fails so many more revisions have to take place. The whole thing is cut and pasted together with various operations. I have to have another one this spring. yeah I had cancer, yeah I lost my leg but I've had a pretty sweet life. In highschool I got involved with improv and theatre so I've always had a wicked sense of humour and ability to tell a story. I wouldn't mind doing a book but I don't want it to be all angels and miracles like other books about cancers and disabilities tend to be. Do you think anyone would read something that just told it like it is in a witty fashion?
I'm not exactly famous. Although I do have some adoring teen fans that watch my every move when I'm in the ladies change room at the pool. ( swear to goodness I'm going to start charging admission)

I tend to make a statement when I go to events. particularly things like the Terry Fox run. I haven't quite put my finger on it but I think it's my pretty face. ( Just kidding it's clearly because I'm the sexiest thing on 1.5 legs)

I don't want people feeling sorry for me. I'm doing fine I just come with a " some assembly required" notice.
