what can i do about my girlfriends family?

me and my girlfriend were sitting by each other at karaoke like we always do. one of her moms 'FRIENDS" told a lie and said that we were touching each other. her dad believed it and now we can't even see each other except at school. her mom acts like she believes us, but i don't think that she does. now me and my baby can't even spend any quality time together. im very mad over the whole deal and would love to get revenge on her father for believing her moms friend instead of his own flesh and blood. my girlfriend says she does to. but my question is should we get revenge to try and set things straight, or should we jest let nature do it's own little thing? and please list why you chose what you did. thanx 4 ur help
