Best way to introduce my bf to my family?

heyyyy ok sooo i finally find a guy worth introducing to my family but i know its not going to be easy breaking it to my controll freak of a mother/family....im trying to think of varous ways to do it tactfully...hes told his family n now hes itching to tell mine not realising my mother can be the most stubburn person around and only accepts that which she chooses to accept....

also theres been a bad track record wiv me n the 3 ex's ive had all abusive violent...this one is completely the opposite but i dnt think my family quite gonna see it that way

plus additional factors are

im sikh indian hes mauritian/hungarian
im 21 hes 26
hes got a 4 year old child from a previous relationship that he sees on the weekends...which he keeps me out of for now because he wouldnt do that to his son incase it didnt work out...

all factors my mother will be all to pleased to find flaws with...any ideas how i can break it to her???
im from england by the way just in difficulty cos its an indian family
we supposed to be going out tonight and my granz gonna be over visiting so i was thinking of getting him to come pick me up and knock for me n my granz realll nosey shed probably invite him in to quiz him and i cud possibly take advantage of that and introduce him as a friend first off or c wot happens....ne1 think that could work?
