Please help!! for English class, "what is family dynamics?"?

I am having trouble understanding my prompt that my professor gave me. The prompt is to focus on my family dynamics and to answer these questions: "what is the axis upon which your family spins? who are the contributing members?" can you please explain to me what she is asking for and give me a few examples that way I can get the idea and know how to start my thesis statement? Please and thank you

I am the only child, my mom does all the working and my dad always lay in his couch watching Television. They never get along, the only reason why they are together is because of me. My dad can be helpful sometimes. My mom, she can't drive, and there's only one car in the household. I sometimes help my mom taking her to grocery shopping and errands, but I practically the parent of my parent, trying to mend the relationship and take care of things such as fill out forms. How can I determine who is the contributing member and what is the axis that my family spins upon?
