Fun idea's to do as a family while husband is home????

Ok so my husband is about to start his one week of paid vacation in a few days. We arent going on "vacation" per say because we are just to tight on money, and the only reason he's taking it this time of the year is that he was about to "loose it if he didnt use it". We live in the south , so while the weather isnt super warm it decent and we can do some outdoor stuff as long as a cold front doesnt come it. What are some fun things we can do with our 2 yr old and our 5 yr old (preschooler so will be home most of the time). I'm looking for stuff that doesnt cost a ton of money, because we had a LITTLE to spend but not a ton. I want to relax as a family but at the same time I want us to go ut and do stuff together because we seem to never be able to because of my husband super busy work schedual. Any creative ideas other than the park and zoo???

Do little things like going to family skates at a rink, swimming, watch movies, go for walks, make cookies... It's the little things that count, because they make you a family. And they're inexpensive and fun.
