| Has anyone had a family member required to have the ignition interlock device on your vehicle?
I'm curious how it has impacted your life? It seems to me that innocent people are forced to have the stigma of a DUI even if someone else has the charge. Why should you also have to blow to drive your vehicle if you have not been convicted of a crime?
It's as if the government is trying to put a big scarlet letter on your shoulder so society will also punish you (interlock device on car, license punched with a hole, etc). But it backfires if you're forced to have a device on your car and a spouse or child is also stuck with the stigma.
Blah, blah, blah if someone feels that the family members are forced to "be good" by not being able to drive if they register a .02 if they blow into the crazy device. It's not your job to police me to make sure I'm following the rules.
