My family always said you should never kiss a baby in the face and i stand by that my husband and my mil?

always kiss my baby in the face and i asked him to stop but he said his mom did it to him and look at him. i dont like it. seems like shes getting little bumps in her face from it. have you evr heard of this before? do you let people kiss your baby in the face?
i dont kiss her face
