When you told your family and friends you were pregnant...?

How did they react? Did anyone have anything negative to say to you? I'm from a very old fashioned Italian family... Some of them weren't even happy when they found out I got engaged (I am only 20 years old... which is why they felt that way.. but i've got a VERY good head on my shoulders, and i'm sure of this..).. I feel that when I do get pregnant, my family is going to look down upon me... unless i'm like 35!... I would like to get pregnant at the end of next year, therefore having the kid when I turn 23... I would just like some thoughts and ideas please... thanks :-)
