how much do most 2-person families spend on groceries a month?

I live on a limited income .Last month, I had unexpected expences and found my self struggeling to just keep food in the house. I just spent 484.dollars at the grocrie store to make sure I was not starving again befor the end of this month..Where I live ,close by are stores who base their prices on ski resort scale(expencive) so I shop about 20 miles from here (at a food lion )so I dont have to pay such high prices. The other adult in my house is actually a 6 foot 180lb.temperaily home from school collage student
