I barely know her and her family was calling out my name?

I'm going into grade 10 and a week ago i went camping with family and friends and there was this kinda popular girl from my school at the campsite. We've never talked but i know her name. Im not very popular, im pretty shy. Then we were at this bingo thing and her family started like calling out my full name and later her bro walked by and read out all my info(like name, school, bday--creepy becuz i dont have her on facebook). And my mom stopped them and said 'youre creeping her out, what are u doing?' and he said 'im sorry (like 5 times) and said it was just a joke and that his sister was hanging out at the beach if i wanted to hang out'...
were they just playing a game?
