Another great reason to be a proud American
The question is: Are you as an American Proud of this sight? Never mind the fact that 1 in 30 white men and 1 in 13 black men are in prison right now in America -
Ever wonder why your tv hasn't told you about this prison? Do you feel like a fool for not knowing that families are being imprisoned in American concentration camps? Are you going to change the way things are here or continue to be a tv zombie?

Oh "Whoa is Me"! You folks never cease to amaze me. Those people living there are well cared for to the tune of about $40,000 per year per individual at the American
Taxpayers expense! If you noticed the sign going in, in big letters "CCA" which stands for Corrections Corporation of America". A private for profit corporation that also runs prisons. This is NOT a prison. It is a residential facility where folks can stay until arrangements can be made to return them to their country or find them gainful employment here. A lot of work is put into this. You bunch of crybaby liberals nauseate me. Go get a life!

Ask yourself this question. How many countries in this world would provide you with Food, Medical and Housing(with heating and AC) while at the same time working with you and your children so you can possibly be assimilated into their society after you had illegally sneaked across their borders? Folks like you never tire of critisizing America, do you?

the only reason why there are more blacks in prison than hispanics or whites, is because there are more blacks that are committing the crimes. that's just fact, not racism. I am currently studying criminal justice at troy. I've learned this.

You have a major point there. To often judges choose prison time over other options. Many of the inmates should be in mental institutions instead of prison bars. More should be done to rehabilitate those prisoners that are on short time to the door. Look at how many released convicts just go right back in. The percentages are huge. The people behind bars will eventually be released. They are people too. They need more help, just like some kids need more attention, to be a productive part of our society. OH...Duh...I just now bothered myself to follow the link...Did you think crossing a national border would be O.K.? You are a FELON. You got caught. Do you think if you go to court for a traffic ticket, that the judge will think it was O.K. to do 70mph in a 30 just because the other car was doing that too? Well just because 15 million other people crossed the border illegally, doesn't make it right. As far as the conditions, you say you are Mexican? What kind of house did you have in Mexico???? How much food did you have???

Get real, these people in this "Prison" are illegals...and from the sounds of it this prison is better than their lives at home. Why don't you open you bleeding heart home to a few of these people and take the tax burden off of me. You got an extra bed or two, then put your money where your mouth is. I personally see this as a border enforcement issues & I am pissed that we even bother to house law-breakers and border hoppers. I am proud of my country and of the people that really count, that is why I send packages to our troops overseas every month, these people deserve my support. As far as the unusual ratio of Blacks vrs. white prison population..well if blacks stop killing each other (yes it is mainly black on black crime) then maybe the numbers would go down.
