What can I do about my husband talking badly about my family?

My husband talks bad about my family constantly. I am not saying they are perfect by no means, but he is constantly nagging. I lived a very sheltered childhood and to get away from it i joined the Army. When I got out, I met my husband and we've been married about 3 years. Because of my sheltered childhood I had not tried alot of things or expericenced alot. Basic things, like because my mother hated seafood, i hadn't even tried fish until after we were married. I'm 23 and never been to a bar, ok. So I see where my husband has complaints. I just don't understand why he constantly will tell me how my parents are ignorant and idiotic and blames them for me "living inside a box" as he puts it. I would love to here feedback.
