| Diet and leave family to eat other stuff? I do the atkins diet, and it works really well for me. The problem is keeping the diet for me, while keeping it fair/balanced for everyone else in my family. (two grown men, and a small child). Either I get overwelmed with all the cooking, because I'm very busy between the hours of 7am-9pm (after the kid goes to sleep lol). Or it gets Really expensive!
When I do adkins it usually revolves around MEAT (so I feel more full), or salad and steamed veggies (cause they are yummy).
I've known other people to do it with their familys, would it be wrong for me to make myself a "diet approved" dinner. While serving Mac&cheese with hotdogs, or hamberger helper with buscuits and veggies to everyone else?
It feels selfish to do that, but I'm the only one with a weight "problem" in the house. And this would be a lot easier on me if I did it this way.
