my girlfriend's family is in financial problems. how can i help?

i am 15 and my girlfriend's family is having bad financial problems. Her mom has a job but it is very low paying. My girlfriend's situation is so bad that she had to get a summer job to help pay the bills, but now she doesn't have a job. She often skips meals to save money. She has mental and physical diseases that she can't pay to treat. Also her mom is abusive and often hits her. Her mom blames her for all their financial and family problems (her parents are divorced). Is there anything I can do to help her??? pleeeeease help
also, i've talked to her about calling child services and she doesnt want to do that because then she would have to live with her dad, who is a control freak. She would lose her freedom; and not to mention she would have to give up her pets which she isnt willing to do
