What do you do when you find out a family member used to do drugs?

It was my one of my cousins. I found out about it through his myspace page. Now we were close when we were yonger. But now we have grown apart. He says he has been clean for a year. I belive him because he is living with is parents. But I am shocked that he used to do durgs. Do you still trust him like you used to or not?
