I was wondering if there were any medications in the Tofranil family?

I have been taking Imipramine for over 24 years now and I do not think it is still working, but i am medication sensitive and I can not take ANYTHING in the Prozac family so I was looking for something to change to that is in that same family of medication that I am taking now.

Wow, Imipramine, that's an old drug.

Ask your doctor, I don't know every drug name off hand. But Tofranil is just a brand name for Imipramine, a tricyclic anti-depressent.

Nothing in the SSRI family, what about the SNRI's?
