How do I tell your family that your moving?

In highschool I had this friend I was in love with. He was wonderful. A few months ago he contacted me. He's in Iraq. He comes back next month and wants me to move to GA with him. I live in TN and I dont know how to tell my mom and sister. Any ideas on what to say? I dont want to leave on bad terms. Our father just died back in August and I dont want my sister to think I'm leaving her too. She is older than me by 4 years and she's pregnant with her second child. I want to be here for her but I want to see if me and Brandon have a shot at life together. Please help, how do I tell them.
By the way I'm 22 yrs old.
