has ur family or friends question what music u listen to?

my family and friends have questioned why i listen to electronic and not rap or latin music.
i listen to electronic cause i wanto to be different and not just here what is popular.my cousins,sis,and bro say that my music is "gay" or "girl music" because they don't understand it.
all rap today sounds the same(about hos,and big booty,drugs,and how ghetto they are,and how u kill "tricks"how dumb) latin music sounds the same about love and mexico..so its mundane.

what do u think about it?have they ever questioned u?
