Is it a good idea to go out drinking a few times a week if alcoholism runs in

your family? Not like keeping alcohol in your house and drinking all the time. But more like going out and having a few drinks with friends on a friday or saturday night, once a week.
Ummm Mark, I don't drink at all. I'm only 19. I was just curious because I plan on moving to NYC next year, and I want to go to bars and clubs with my friends, but I wanted to make sure that when I do go out, that I wouldn't drink too much or too often.

As long as you moderate how much and how often you drink. When alcoholism runs in the family, it's easier also become alcoholic. Everyone is an individual, and it all depends on you.
