NJ Soldier to Civilian needs job to provide for family any suggestions?

I am getting out in July 2008 and I am stressing b/c I need to be able to provide for my family and the training the Military gave me in Truck driving is not helping find a job! I have been in since I was 17 and now almost 25. The Army is all I know!! I am shooting more towards police, security etc.. but $10 hr doesn't cut it these days!!!! Any suggestions to help out a struggling soldier would be great!!!! I am in the central to southern NJ area!!!
First of all thanks to everyone that answered already those are great ideas most in which I have already done. Second of all to those of you that are thanking me for serving our country its an honor but I should be thanking you b/c that kind of support helps us continue our fight!!! Thanks for the support guys!!!
