ok i am 17 and my bf is 52 i love him alot but idk what to tell people and my family?

ok my bf is 52 and i am 17 its ok in my state you only have to be 17 to have sex and the age from there dose not matter we were together for a year befor we ever had sex and none of us have cheated and i was a virgin and he took that a couple months ago and we really do love each other i know most people think its weird but do you reallly think you get to chose who you fall in love with if you did do you think i would chose someone with this much of an age gap but i dont really care about age i love him and thats what matters to me and him but now i need to figure out how to tell people i have only told my best best best friend about him and she kinda freaked lol but now she is ok with it i hope my family will be ok with it too
come on he cant be using me he did not get any for a year thats a long time for a guy
