| At what age do children of divorce realize that their "family" is different?
My husband and I divorced when our son was 18 mons old so he does not remember us "together". His dad and I get along ok, communication on his part could be better(he refuses to attend p/t conferences wih me wants his own time, refuses to have joint b-day parties for our son,"avoids" me at sporting events ect)but hes a great dad and shares joint custody with me.Our son is 8 yrs old now and wondering when/if divorce will ever affect him since he was so young?
