My family and I will likely move to Athens, Greece in the Summer. Where to live?

It is just my wife and baby and me. We are Americans but have lived in London and Basel, Switzerland over the past 4 years.

We will be living there for 2 years or so and are very excited as we have each visited Athens twice and the islands a number of times.

Luckily, the company will help us with renting an apartment or a house so we likely can spend a high amount on housing.

Where should we live? I believe the office is in southern Athens (16341, Llioupolis), and I would not want an extremely long commute. Would love to live in a safe area, ideally near the sea, but not sure if that is an option.
