How many years do you have to go to college for to be a family phsychologist? & if?

ALSO, how many years & any experiences you want to share about working for DCF?! [deparment of children and families]

To work for DCF, some states only require a bachelors degree (4 years). Depends on the job. But to be a psychologist, you need a PhD, which is 8+ years.

4 for undergrad and 2 for a Masters - 6 all up. But many get a PhD which would make it 8 years all up.
