I applied for financial aid today @ school... whats the chance that ill get it?

i make under 18,000 $ a year.... i am an Independent... part time student.... and don't have much of a savings.
im only taking one class... and between the class and book for it...it will probably be about one grand for the total.. its a community college.

I think that you are still well above poverty level according to the federal government. If you had kids, you would have a better chance of getting more aid. Trust me I am not advocating to have kids in order to get money for school. It is just really hard to get money.

what school? how many classes? what did you apply for. Your almost definitely going to get between 2k-4k at least, the grants will cover at least a grand.


the first post is very very wrong. you will get some money, the question is how much did you apply for and what school.
