question about financial aid?

i'm doing my financial aid on the web and im filing for it on my own using my own w2 form. i came to a snag where it is asking me to Enter the amount of your (and your spouse's) income tax for 2007. Should i leave it blank since i'm filing on my own or put the amount on my w2 form? thanks

Any time the form asks question about a spouse, either enter a 0 or leave it blank if you do not have a spouse. Only answer the questions that apply to you being a single. Also, if you are still a dependent (meaning that your parents still claim you on their taxes), make sure they fill out their income tax information on the form to, as well as adding a signature afterwards.

If its asking you to place the amount on that line that you and your spouse made together you only put your amount (as you have no spouse) If it's asking for yours on one line, put yours there and on the spouse line a zero. I have filled out fafsa twice, but can't remember specifically the area you're in. You already indicated somewhere on it that your not married, so only putting your inocme on will make sense to them.
