Help with financial aid (FAFSA) application!?!?

I applied for the FAFSA and put all the information. Then, when I log in to check if they received the application, it says this:

Application Not Found

There is no application in our database that matches the Social Security Number (SSN), name, date of birth, and PIN that you entered. This might be because:

* You do not have a 2008-2009 FAFSA on file.
* Your last name has changed since you filed your application.

I really need this because I the deadline is almost coming. Thanks for your help.

Are you sure you didn't put it in as a "correction 2008-2009 FAFSA"?

You may have entered all the information, but did you actually hit the "Submit" button? It should have given you a conformation page with an EFC number and a conformation number on it. Sometimes you can enter the wrong year (example: you actually filled out the 07-08 application on accident) Other times you might have entered your social security number wrong. Follow this link to check the status of your application.
