how much financial aid can i expect from my school when my parents had $0 in wages earned on their tax forms...
i didnt get very good grades in highschool, my EFC was like 1,000-something. and i did get my fafsa form in before the deadline. i am going to a public school

tuition is $8,382.96
plus another 7-8 thousand for room and board.

i dont need anything exact.. just an estimate.

It all depends.
Was your EFC 0? To what school are you going? Did you submit your FAFSA before your state's FAFSA deadline? What are your grades like?

Overall, chances are you will NOT get a free ride. But you should get a good enough portion that, if it doesn't take care of everything, most things will be covered. For example, I have an estimated $18,000 from my college for financial aid but this isn't just from FAFSA. It also includes money for my good academics, a state-fund, state grants, Pell grant, and work-study because I managed to get my stuff turned in quickly and early since I knew my mum wouldn't have much in the way of taxes. (My EFC was 0.)
