Is there any special financial aid money for nurses?

I just transferred into a nursing program from a hard science program. I had been fortunate enough to receive grants/scholarships specific to my degree to encourage women into the sciences. Now that I have changed my major, I am concerned that I may not get enough Financial Aid to support my education. Does anyone know about Financial Aid for a nursing program?

If you are in need of programs that offer financial aid, some of the online programs offer that option as well. However, it should be noted that financial aid is not available through all of the schools that offer distance learning online, so you will need to read the information offered to determine if you will be able to even consider financial aid through that particular institution.

Financial assistance comes in many forms, so be sure to do your research; you may be eligible for aid and not even know it.

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing, which helps to advance higher education in nursing, is an excellent resource for scholarships and financial aid for nursing students.

You should get Financial Aid for the nursing program. Im in one at a community college, and I get more then enough to cover my classes plus the lab fees and everything else. Your just going to have to apply for the aid.
