izzymon06 has a spectacular aura about
As a student who is not getting a very positive response from Financial Aid?

Should I look at declining my acceptance to the Dental Hygiene program? I have recieved nothing for financial aid, and cannot afford to go to school with no help. Since I already have a bachelors, most of the financial assistance is removed from the scenario. The vast majority of scholarships offered by the school are there to support mothers who are going to school for the first time, or are going into the nursing field. With the economy in the shape its in and my credit not being the best, I would be lucky to even be considered for a student loan- the Pell grant is already out since I have a BA.

From the job stand point, I have a crappy position that I will never go any further in- but it paid my bills. This will not work once I start school as it is a full time position and I would need to work part time.

I have applied for numerious jobs that would allow me to earn something while in school, but no luck here either.

Is it time to face reality here????
I have about a month before I start school in a two year program, but with house, car, credit card and day care expenses, things are looking very desolate.

In two weeks I will need to come up with about $2,000 for educational expenses that are related to the program.

I am very depressed when I think that all of my hard work will go to waste becasue I cannot afford to go.
