Where can my son apply for a grant or financial aid for his EMT training.?

He will also be attending the Firemans Academy. Are there any privite or public organizations that can provide special fundings or grants to assist individuals who wishes to attend this type of school.

www.fafsa.ed.gov is a site for a Free FAFSA form. He can fill it out and go from there.

The last two respondents are right...filling out a FAFSA form is extremely helpful. When I recieved aid through FAFSA, I ended up w/ approximately $2500/semester. Since you can take EMT classes thru your local community college, this would pay for books and everything *as long as you qualify (determined through your family's income). Make sure he lists the schools were he might be going so that his info is sent to all of them.
