| Ok I want to get my GED? Answer my questions plz.? Ok so at age 16 I took a high school equivalency exam or so i thought, because I recently found out that the place I took it at is not listed in the California Department of Education website so I guess it was a scam. Well somehow I was allowed to register at a nearby community college (at the time they approved the diploma and so I thought it was legit). Two semesters has gone by and I received financial aid.Today I was informed that my high school diploma is not legit and so I have no idea what is going to happen. Also, right now I'm 17 years old and I've taken 24 units so far. Last semester my GPA was 3.3 but will most likely increase after this semester. Also, I had to take a placement test at the college and did very well. Will they allow me to get my GED ASAP although I've already started college? Also, do I have to be 18 or over?Someone please help, I'm totally confused. I love school and I don't want to have any kind of trouble. |

| Ok I want to get my GED? Answer my questions plz.? you don't have to be 18 to take the test. you should talk to your college adviser and also to the department of education people about this. i wonder if you wouldn't need to retake the test because you're already in college. the department of ed will definitely know. |
