PLEEEEEEEEASE help!!!!!!!?

Ok so in 2006 I took my high school equivalency test and got a high school diploma .its actually what some people call a "GED". so i registered for a community college the year after and so far i have been going two semesters. when i first registered they said everything was fine and they made copies of my diploma. anyways, almost a year has passed and for this current semester i received financial aid. i filled out the FAFSA and my college approved it, and so i received financial aid. Now, I check my info online from my school website and it says that they want my GED scores and that i wasnt supposed to get financial aid because it's not a credited high school. I dont get it, why are they telling me this now? Also, the school is called:Century High School location:902 22nd St. Santa Monica, CA How can I find out if the exam they gave me is accredited in California? i called the U.S. Department of Education they told me to call the California Department..and so I called the California Department of Education .they said they had the school on file but then they gave me the Santa Monica -Malibu education district number but they say they cant help me either. What do i do?everyone who answers the phone transfers me to someone else .

OMG.okay i took the same "test".After I left High School a couple of other students who took it as well found out it wasn't accredited.This is my third semester at a community college too.I have a 3.5 GPA and I don't want this to affect me!I plan to take the G.E.D just to be sure.Please Email me back with any info.genaro31@att.net
