How do I apply for school loans?

I am a high school senior who was accepted into a four year college program. My total expenses for the 2008-2009 schoool year will be over $35,000. My projected family income according to my FASFA is $0. I was given two grants and two loans as a part of my financial aid package from the schoool: The Federal Stafford Loan and The Federal Parent Loan. Now I need to apply for these loans, but I don't know how. Does anyone know how to get these?

Well, first off, youre parents need some collatrel to apply for the loan and an income would help. talk to your academic advisor.35 grand is alot of money though I though FAFSA gave 25 tops. Migt wanna try a private company like sally mae, bigger intrests but pays what you ask...

Your best bet would be to call the financial aid office of the college you are going to attend. They would have all of the forms you would need to fill out and would be able to suggest other loan options if what you are getting in aid is not enough to cover your tuition. It's probably a good idea to check with them anyway to see if there are any other grants, scholarships or other funding that you might qualify to apply for. Then sign your life away and be prepared to kiss a chunk of your paychecks goodbye for the next 20 or so years (10 down 10 to go for me!).
