I'm no longer with my husband how do I write a financial aid letter to the Federal aid?

When I first applied for financial aid they denied cause they said my husband made too much money. Now I live in another state by myself and I need financial aid from the federal to go to school

if you filed for pell grants for student aid, simply make a correction to your fasfa. Also, call your financial aid officer at the school you are attending and explain the situation. They will be able to assist you.
