Financial aid for what? Is it for school or to help you live while you pretend to be looking for a job?

Yes, it shouldn't interfere with it. I know that you will be denied scholarships if you've been convicted of certain felonies but I don't believe it's applied to something like you have. If you weren't selling. Selling is like the worst thing you can get popped for, stays with you forever! If you are off probation, go to the court and file to have the case expunged. You will have to fill out papers and pay a fee and then either you go in front of the judge to speak with the judge or the judge just reviews the case and makes his decision.Good luck-
