| Initially, anybody can apply for financial assistance, no matter what grades they have. However, once you have financial aid, you need to maintain a 2.0 gpa. You financial aid package will be awarded after looking at both your 2007 tax return and your parents return if you are under 24 years of age. Then they figure out how much your family could reasonably pay out of pocket for your education and subtract that from the total cost of attendance and if anything is left over, that is what you will be awarded in grants, scholarships, and loans. No matter what college you wish to attend, you should always fill out the FAFSA to see if you stand a chance. |
